Corona virus also know as covid 19 has great effects on blogs in 2020. As the covid 19 outbreak has worsened, so as it has great effects on blogs and its terms.
I don't thinks its too soon to say that the covid 19 global pandemic will likely be one of the defining events of 2020, and that it will have implications that last well into the decade.
Covid 19 started in Wuhan,Hubei, China in December 2019. World Health Organization (WHO) declared it has Public Health Emergency International Concern(PHEIC) on 30 January, 2020 and as a pandemic on 11 March, 2020. The most recent common ancestor of all corona viruses is estimated to have existed as recently as 8000BCE.
As more cities are going under lockdown, nonessential businesses are being ordered to close and customers are generally avoiding public places.

The statistics has proven that before the pandemic, blog increases and when the pandemic comes blog increases but covid-19 multiple the increase in some aspect and it also substrate the increase in some aspect. Covid-19 outbreak leads most youth in blogging since lockdown is out. That also leads to increase in publishing blog post.
Also, internet user that read blog post increases to 77%.

CONS
As more cities are going under lockdown, nonessential businesses are being ordered to close, even some will run down financially. Now take for instance, companies that are ordered to close due to lockdown, will they have access to blog not to talk of updating their customers with latest news.
Conclusion
We are, all of us, currently living in flux in 2020.
I studied from the past years, keep showing improvement and growth throughout the blogosphere. This show that more companies, marketers and individual are investing in blogging. Despite claims that no one want to read long-form content, or that all content will be delivered through video, the fact is blogging is still an extremely viable and effective medium for creating content and building an online business.
